In His Steps, by Charles Sheldon. Is a rather ridiculous Utopian novel, about a group of churchgoers who are challenged to get closer to Jesus, by asking the question, “what would Jesus do?” Before doing anything. Not all of these churchgoers accept or do this challenge but a relatively small group of these people go along and do this challenge. But how should these church members really had gone about finding out what Jesus would have done?
To begin with none of these people actually opened up a bible to figure out what Jesus would have actually done, instead they just “felt” that Jesus would have done the same. In other words they did not use the bible to back any of their decisions. So in conclusion these church members should have read the bible, to have “proof” that Jesus would do the same.
