Why Posting My Essays on My Own Blog Site Every Week Will Benefit Me in the Long Run?

I have been blogging for a year now, and I enjoy it greatly. I like it when people other than my family read my writing, either if it is any essay or a personal piece. I feel like I gain something from it. But why posting my essays on my blog every week will benefit me in the long run? 

Reason One:

Whenever I look through all of my essay blog posts, from a year ago to now, I see a pretty steady improvement in my writing. This is because blogging forces you to make sure that you write well, because a larger audience can read your essays; which in other words means that blogging has helped motivate me into becoming a better writer, than I was before, which gives me more opportunities when applying for universities, or a writing related job.

Reason Two:

Posting my essays on my blog is a way that proves that I am doing all my writing assignments, and that I am decent at writing. Say that my parents or someone else wants to see if I keep up with my assignments, and that  my writing ability is on the same level as my peers, they can just search up my blog, to find the needed proof. Also my blog can be used as proof to an employer who wants to see if I am qualified for the writing related job.

Reason Three:

The final reason why blogging will benefit me in the long run, is the fact that my blog is something that I can look back to; see how much I have progressed when it comes to writing. Also if nothing happens I may be able to use my blog as a memoir of my youth, which I can show to my children, if I do have children.

In conclusion this is why posting my essays on my blog every week will benefit me in the long run.
